Integration of Flight Companion and Flymap

The proven Flight Companion is grown together with the
successful moving map system Flymap.
The products GCAS/GCAS PLUS Flight Companion will be
united with Flymap to the new version Flymap GCAS/GCAS+.
The products Flight Companion START and Flight Companion
ICAO 3.1 will be replaced with the Flymap standard version.
We would like to facilitate the upgrade on the Flymap
version by offering you attractive prices.

Fade in of Radar precipitation data
|

The precipitation
data from the Radar system by DWD (German weather authority)
are shown as a layer directly on the Moving Map (acccess on pc_met required).

Fade in of NOTAM und GAFOR
|
|
|
|
The NOTAM data and
GAFOR (General Aviation Forcast) data are shown as layers
directly on the Moving Map (for Germany only).
The data can be obtained via download from
GAT24 Online Selfbriefing or via pc_met by
Deutscher Wetterdienst DWD.

Flymap on PDAs with high resolution display
|
|
|
|
|
With the new generation of high resolution PDAs, Flymap is operating with a
4-times higher resolution. Which results in an excessive quality improvement of
the Moving Map in each operating mode (North-up or course-up).
For a still larger survey you may use the new Pocket PCs with 4" display.
